A little about me
I believe that change is always possible. Yet the pace of change differs for each individual. I look forward to guiding you through your own process of healing and growth. As your therapist, I will collaborate with you in a compassionate, attentive and down-to-earth manner. I came to counselling after my own challenges with anxiety and the experience altered my life course, both personally and professionally. I found the process revitalizing and life-affirming. As a result, I feel passionately about helping others to understand themselves better.
I have worked with people struggling with depression and anxiety, life transitions, grief, postpartum depression, infertility, parenting struggles, trauma and loss of identity, to name a few. I feel that our depression and anxiety are trying to speak to us. I think that therapy is a chance to listen what they are trying to say. I therefore believe it is important to help lessen the symptoms, such as depression and anxiety, and when possible, also consider the possible causes of the distress.
